Baby Logan

We photographed little baby Logans' parent's wedding and now they are blessed with this little bundle of strength and joy. We had fun photographing him last week and Corie and Scott were able to get the enlargements, collages and photographs that they needed in time for gifts for the Holidays.

You all know that I just love black and white and color -- here is Logan in a Santa hat. Oh My gosh, isn't he adorable!

So many expressions for such a little one!

It will be fun to photograph him on this same bench as the years go by. One day he will be gradauating high school and perhaps he can sit on a bench like this that used to fit his whole length.

The 3 week old portrait session is a special one, because never again will he be so small, so wrinkly, so angelic. Can you believe that this little hand will be reaching for his Dad's car keys in what will seem like the blink of an eye.

Another photograph showing just how little he really is.

Logan looks very angelic and serene in this portrait, very obviously at home in his Dad's arms.

One of my favorite quotes, and I do believe quite the philosophy of these wonderful and doting parents, who seem to have figured out already what is important in life.

These next two show you just how much love Corie and Scott have for each other -- and for Logan.

What exactly is Logan pondering??

They bought a "mother" and a "daddy" collage

Corie looking on with complete adoration, a mother's love is universally recognized.
I applied my favorite chocolate filter to this photograph.

This next image is just one of a series and I love them all, newborn skin against Daddy's bare chest. I applied my favorite chocolate filter to this too.

Enlargements from Janet & Brenden's Wedding

Here are some enlargements from Janet and Brenden's wedding...

You can view all of Janet & Brenden's wedding photos here: http://tlc.smugmug.com/Weddings/672959

Janet getting into the Limo -- she is radiant!

Janet is lucky enough to have not one but TWO wonderful Maids of Honor

I just love this portrait of Teyah, she could be a model!

I just LOVE this photograph of Janet's mother (she was holding someone's flowers looking on during the formals)

Doesn't Janet's mother look so proud, so happy, during this mother daughter dance!

Janet with her Leah

Brenden really liked the Black and White Images from their wedding.

Brenden's sister was instrumental the day of the wedding. She got to the hotel and got everyone in motion. Everyone could use someone like (loving, but motivating) her in their family.

I applied a Hollywood Fine Art filter during the post-processing of this photograph of Heather, and I was pleased with the effect -- making a beautiful woman even more stunning.

Don't they make a great couple!

Janet was always willing to be photographed. Weddings go by so fast, but Janet was always willing to flash a smile for us.

Her uncle was so proud to be a part of this this day!

Wow!

Collages from Janet & Brenden's wedding

Janet and Brenden recently purchased some collages from their Fall wedding for Christmas gifts.
Here are a few collages and Fine Art photographs from their wedding. I will post some enlargements in a separate post. You can view all of Janet & Brenden's wedding photos here: http://tlc.smugmug.com/Weddings/672959

This first one will adorn both their walls and those of Brenden's grandmother.

This Fine Art rendition of their candle lighting ceremony has a classical and almost timeless feel to it.

I just love Black and white with a splash of color!

Their first dance was VERY flavorful, as you can tell by these next two photographs.

ALL of the details were perfectly planned and executed, making for an awesome wedding. I just LOVED the flowers that Janet picked out.
This photograph started out as a grab shot. Tom was photographing Janet and I happened to catch a glimpse of one of Brenden's groomsmen in the mirror so I asked Brenden to stand there instead. The photograph was them processed and a Fine Art image was created from it. It is one of my personal favorites from their wedding day.

First Snow

We had our first SNOW on Sunday. Luckily I got the outside lights all out and up on Friday and Tom got the snowglobes out Saturday. I woke up Sunday am and took a slow walk around the yard with my camera. Here are a few photographs from my backyard journey...

Home tweet home...

I love the snow on all of my yard knick-knacks...my reflection appears in this caterpillar, good thing I put my coat on and not my bathrobe like I was tempted to

Butterfly antennae in the snow.

I saved this tree three times when Tom and Adam went out "yard trimming"
I love my GBH's even in the snow.
These grasses look soooo different today from yesterday (fluffy and billowy)

The last of Fall, even though it's not officially winter yet.

The snow on this stone looked like a smilie face to me.

You can see my reflection in this dragonfly's eye.
And last but not least my cat planter that did not yet get put away, looks like he has a milk mustache...
