Daria Silhouette

I am behind on my posting. I am going to try to get caught up...

Meet Daria -- LOTS of energy and passion. Wow! What fun to photograph!

I took lots of photos of her, in a couple of different outfits. You will see more of her, but here are a few silhouettes to get started. Enjoy!

TJ and Matthew

We took photographs of Tyler (TJ) and Matthew, the grandchildren of Edie and Tom. They came all prepared with a couple of outfit changes, etc. even their new karate uniforms.

We took sooo many great photographs, lots of outfits, lots of poses, and LOTS of expressions -- here is a composite of each of them in their karate uniform.

We had taken photographs of Tom a couple of months ago http://breaphotos.blogspot.com/2009/03/indiana-jones.html and the kids remembered the silhoutettes that we had taken and asked us if they could have silhoutettes taken too.
We will post more as we process them!

Indiana Jones

We photographed Tom on Tuesday -- he was a lot of fun to work with! We got to try some silhouettes and two different backgrounds, one our brand new cobblestone (also looks like a giraffe hide).

Here are a few photos from the session...To see more photos from his session take a look on our website in this gallery http://tlc.smugmug.com/gallery/7682854_kqELx. We will be posting more photos in his gallery soon.

I just love this pose!!!

The left is my favorite chocolate action versus the traditional black and white on the right.

The Black and White processed photos came out quite dramatic!

The left photo was the background lights turned off (yielding a nice gray background) and the main lights illuminating Tom, while the right image was with the background lights turned on and the main lights not illuminating Tom. The resulting silhouette is very unique -- I especially cannot wait to see that one printed.
